45th HS Reunion

Fri July26th Off to Spokand for Anita's 45th Marycliff reunion.

Lake Sammamish Fisherman

Lake Sammamish Fisherman. The weather has gone south for a while now and the fisherman (eagles) are out in force. It is always entertaining waching these guys. Today is Sat and the bass fisherman are shooting all over the lake in their FAST boats. Not near as much fun to watch, But still amazing to see fishing boats going by @ 60-70mph and sometimes even faster. Quite a transition from high speed to just puttering around on their electric moters and high tech equipment just to snag a fish or two and then throw them back.

Home Again

We made it home on the 5th with 1000 more mi on the odometer. Now its already the 11th. Scored on a new air conditioner none too soon as today it’s suppose to hit 97. The morning is spectacular still a cool breeze with the sun creeping over the horizon and all the birds and ducks greeting the morning. This is really what it's all about. Pictures to follow

On the Way to Spokane

Started out @ 0700 from Portland. We had a great trip from Portland to Kennewick where we stopped by for a quick visit with Aunt Eva and her son Mickey and daughter Blanch. Then headed to Cheney to pick up Isabel at Trudy's this was a magical place on about 10 acres. The property was filled with wonderful metal sculptures created by Ron. Their house was equally creative. All I can say is WOW! Then it was off to Mary & Bob's for a great BBQ. Then once again off to the lake cabin. As usal arriving and being greeted by the nabighors like we were old friends. All in all the whole day was a fun experience and well worth the 400mi drive.

Beautiful day in portland

The afternoon is one beautiful one. Anita Mary and Granma are out shopping. Liz is out shopping. Michael is at a animation confrence and Steve is napping. Life is GOOD

The 4th of July Adventure

After a mixed bag of weather we picked up Mary at the Portland Airport and continued on to "the Home" for dinner with grandma. Then after a little shopping it was off to Steve & Liz's for a rousing game of pinnochle. Of course Mary and Tommy Kicked a$$.

Arriving For NASA Internship

Miki John and Lenny. Arriving at Ames Research. 6/18/07. John will be spending the next couple of months doing his NASA internship. To return in late Aug to grab a change of clothes and head of to Washington State University. The boy never stops and hopefully he never will.

John L. DeLeo Graduates from Peinsula High 06/17/2007. He is now off to Calafornia for a summer internship with NASA Ya! NASA.

Adam off to Alaska

Visited Adam in Bellingham. He just finished school for the year and was heading to Alaska on the 14th

Finally a visit from the Spokanits

Mary,Bob & Isabel drove over from Spokane June 9th and spent the weekend. They did the zoo, Mary was able to sleep and Bob kicked butt at cards. They headed back home Tue. 6/12 I think a good time was had by all. Or at least I enjoyed it.

Well it's kind of summer like around here. Spotted the first baby geese of the year. Two fmilies totalling 7 little ones.

Mary & Bob's 50th Weekend

The Annaversary weekend has started. We drove to Spokane Thur May 10th. The drive was great. Good weather all the way. Left around 10am arrived just before 3pm. Today we will head to Dimond lake and take up some furniture.
